Prescott UCC Church
"For in fact, the realm of God is among you."
The Eternal Spirit continues to Dwell Among us, even in Covid19 times
Prescott UCC members and friends continue to worship and praise God (online currently) through Scripture readings and songs. We pray in joy and in grief. We study the Scriptures. We donate our money and time to offer our lives in service and mission. We seek to walk the compassion and justice of Jesus "on earth as it is in heaven."
Followers of the Way of Jesus
We made masks for Prescott Nursing and Rehab, local hospital and veterinary clinics, for Shriners in the Cities and Head Start in Duluth. We volunteered time at Prescott's Freedom Park, Feed My Starving Children, the white privilege discussion group, and the Prescott antiracism group. We donated money to Prescott Food Pantry, Turningpoint for Victims of Domestic & Sexual Violence, Union Gospel, Mercy Corp, the UCC's Special Funds, Friends of Mississippi River, and to organizations belonging to people of color that were destroyed in the Twin City protests: Minneapolis Neighborhood House, I Love Lake Street, Hamline Midway Coalition, and MIGIZI-Empowering Our Youth.
Becoming a Robust and Beloved Community
Though in-person worship services are suspended due to COVID-19, we worship together.
Our worship service bulletin and our worship video are posted on our Media page and on Youtube.
